Avaya Connects With Colubris

Another day, another partnership deal in the world of enterprise wireless LANs. Startup Colubris Networks Inc. has hooked up with Avaya Inc. (NYSE: AV -message board), through the firm’s DeveloperConnection program. “Colubris is both an innovator member and Avaya compliance-tested,” Bob Olson, PR director at Colubris, told Unstrung today. Network Week – Controls unite wireless and wired systems

LAN management vendor Colubris Networks last week announced plans for a new generation of systems to help firms unify control of their wired and wireless networks. “People are telling us that Wi-Fi is mature enough for the enterprise, but that they don’t want duplication of wired and wireless information.
